| The Technological Institute of Production (ITP) supports the management of the Centers for Productive Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITE), promoting the strengthening of its management and technological capabilities aimed at improving its intervention in companies and productive units within the scope of its competition.
Likewise, the ITP Red CITE has the mission of “carrying out research, development, innovation and technology transfer services under a demand approach for agents in the productive sectors, in order to contribute to their competitive, diversified and articulated development”. The above implies for the CITE to promote the absorption and adoption of technologies, through services aimed at solving the problems identified by companies with timely, relevant, accessible and quality interventions. On September 22, 2016, the Loan Agreement No. 3700 / OC-PE was signed between the Republic of Peru and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to contribute to the financing and execution of the Public Investment Project “Improving Productive Innovation Levels at National Level”. The purpose of the consultancy is to prepare the Strategic Plan for the Technology Transfer and Extension Center (CET), which will aim to help close technical-productive gaps in its target market. For the formulation of the Strategic Plan, the consulting firm must prepare, from primary and secondary information, a diagnosis of the technological gaps and gaps that can be reduced through advisory and technological services, as well as other aspects related to productive performance, in a representative number of companies in the sector / subsector / chain of the geographical area corresponding to each beneficiary CET and that for this service are the Citeagroindustrial Chavimochic in the department of La Libertad and the CITE agroindustrial Majes in the department of Arequipa, who present in Consortium; therefore 02 diagnoses and 02 strategic plans must be developed in the departments of La Libertad and Arequipa respectively .
