LOCAL TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND LOGISTICS SUPPORT OF HIGH QUALITY TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT OF BRAZILIAN INTERNATIONALIZATION OF SMES, PAIIPME

This project seeks to promote the international integration of Brazilian companies and strengthen the institutional capacity of civil servants in Brazil that will support these companies in the process of internationalization, trade, investment, negotiation and implementation of European Union best practices. This requires that all actors involved in the project both institutions and SMEs are highly trained and have a one-stop’ register for information of exports and imports as well as for transit procedures. In this sense the project involves developing a comprehensive information software platform which involves all the institutions related with the trade affairs and also benefits SMEs through the design of a special area for development of their own websites under the one-stop’ register window umbrella.

The project had 4 components:

1. Design and develop the one-stop’ register for export, import and transit for the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Brazil. www.vitrinedoexportador.gov.br/
   2. Design and develop the website of the Brazilian Agency of Industrial Development for the management a visibility of the project. www.paiipme.com.br.
   3. Design and development of a multimedia CD Rom for “Learning to export to the European Union” and include it on the website. http://www.aprendendoaexportar.gov.br/inicial/index.htm
   4. Design and development of a training plan for public servants and software area of the Ministry
