STRENGTHEN OF REGIONAL COORDINATION CAPACITIES OF BIOTECSUR PLATFORM AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MECHANISM FOR SCIENCE/INDUSTRY CONSORTIUM PROMOTION BETWEEN MERCOSUR PARTNERS AND THE EU

The objective of this contract is to strengthen the regional coordinating capacities of Biotecsur Platform and implement a mechanism for the Science / Industry consortia promotion between MERCOSUR and European Union partners, based on regional priorities. In other words, the main aim is to consolidate the BiotecSur platform through coordinated regional actions implementation aimed at promoting public/private cooperation in the region with the European Union.

For this, four activities will be carried out:

1. Design and implementation of the MERCOSUR Biotechnology Observatory: BiotecSur Network.
2. Identification of common subjects for future regional projects calls.
3. Coordination of financing mechanisms among MERCOSUR funding agencies for future joint calls.

4. Consolidation of the MERCOSUR Biotechnology Professionals Network: BiotecSur Network.
