TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING AND TRAINING ON FOREIGN TRADE TO THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMIC AND TRADE OF GUATEMALA

The project aims to contribute to equitable and sustainable growth of the economy and employment by strengthening foreign trade to regional and European markets, boosting foreign investment and increased competition and competitiveness. Therefore the objective of this component is the implementation of a Capacity Building Program for the Ministry of Economy focused on foreign trade services and investment through the formulation and implementation of national policy for the Promotion of Foreign Trade and the Investment Promotion productive socially inclusive and environmentally responsible as a result of a shared vision of the public, private and social.

It includes concrete policy development with the consequent study of the current situation of the country in this respect and further implementation and commissioning of the same at the institutional and social development.

This work is developed in collaboration with local consultants, which favours the generation of a continuous training process for the participants Administration technicians who are affected by the outcome of the project.

The implementation of this policy will be implemented through the formulation and implementation of the National Policy for the Promotion of Investments productive socially inclusive and environmentally responsible, as a result of a shared vision of the public, private and social.
