COMMUNICATIONS PLANS TO GENERATE A STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP WITH INTERNATIONAL MEDIA AND KEY PLAYERS OF COLOMBIA 2021-11-25T09:55:01+00:00

Project Description

Dates:  08/2021  –  07/2022

The objective of the project is to design and implement communications plans to generate a strategic relationship with international media and key actors to strengthen Colombia’s positioning as a destination for FDI and SBC provider.

The consultant will develop at least the following activities:

Phase 1 – Planning

Detailed definition of two Communications Plans, designed to meet ProColombia’s communication needs and impact the markets of interest of SBC’s investment and export axes. The activities in this phase will be the following:

1. Design a Communications Plan and public relations strategy to position Colombia as an attractive destination for FDI

2. Design a Communications Plan and public relations strategy to position Colombia as a trusted SBC provider

3. Build together with ProColombia a list of international media with which each of the communications plans will work

4. Develop key messages and other communication pieces (press releases, videos, graphic pieces, interview questionnaires, among others), according to the inputs provided by ProColombia.

Phase 2 – Execution

Once the strategic messages to be disseminated in the media have been defined, as well as the list of general and specialized media to impact each of the markets of interest and for each of the investment and export axes, the phase of dissemination and positioning of investment opportunities and the exportable offer of SBC de Colombia commences. Activities in this phase:

1. Pitching of press releases and relevant news to the axes involved in the project, as well as dissemination of the contents in general and specialized media, and in the media included in the wish list (press releases, stories, success stories, columns).

2. Continuously follow up and comply with the schedule of the Communications Plans.

3. Carry out the daily management of international media requests, including the provision of information and relevant materials for publication in these media, in permanent coordination with ProColombia’s Communications Management.

5. Manage one-on-one interviews and columns with ProColombia’s spokespersons, to achieve preponderant spaces in high impact and/or specialized media.

6. Proactively propose activities and activations for the dissemination of messages.

7. Submit weekly reports
